AAFA Political Education Fund
The AAFA Political Education Fund (PEF) was established in 2013 to amplify AAFA's political voice through strategic education campaigns in support of AAFA's legislative and regulatory advocacy efforts. At its core, the AAFA PEF is intended to educate policymakers and the public about the issues most important to the U.S. apparel and footwear industry. The PEF does not support or oppose candidates for public office.
why is the AAFA PEF necessary?
The AAFA PEF provides an essential platform to advance the issues of the U.S. apparel and footwear industry through proactive and vocal public education efforts. An established PEF provides AAFA with needed resources to quickly respond or proactively position the industry in the public policy debate. The PEF creates a sustainable pool of resources to support and shape long-term efforts to achieve AAFA’s legislative and regulatory agenda.
who can contribute to the AAFA PEF?
Unlike ClothesPAC contributions, which are personal donations given to political campaigns, the AAFA PEF is supported through corporate contributions.
